Legal Plain Language Training

Don conducts workshops in clear and effective legal writing for law firms and government agencies. They are offered as a full day, or two half-days or evenings, and are approved for CLE credit. The client's own materials can be included in the workshop and individual coaching is available.

Regulatory Plain Language Writing/Editing

Formerly Assistant Chief Counsel for Regulations for the Federal Aviation Administration, Don spent over 30 years coaching lawyers and technicians in the art of clear communication. Don was given Vice President Al Gore's "No Gobbledygook" award for writing regulations in plain language. Today he provides drafting and editing support for complex government rulemaking projects.
